The past few days have been really good.
Everything was super crazy around the house getting ready for my aunt's bridal shower.
I don't know if it actually rained at the shower though, because mom sent me to play at playcare all the time people were over.
Friday night my mom and aunt's friend decided to spend the night. I didn't stay the night at playcare that night and didn't even hear her! She was a sneaky one! I was locked up in mom's room. I woke up in the morning and on my way to water the flowers (as a i do every morning) I smelt that booger in the bedroom across the hall from me. Needless to say I had a minor heart attack and alerted the house. They all reassured me it was okay and I never saw her (but I'm sure she was there).
Mom did break one rule by letting my aunt's friend Rebecca come and meet me at play care. I didn't know what to think because I saw my uncle and was so excited to see him but then this strange human was trying to be friends with me. I barked at her, then kissed her, barked at her, and then kissed her. I hope the trainer won't be too mad at mom.
We went on an hour walk on Sunday when she picked me up and I had a blast. It was really relaxing except a biker came behind us and scared us both. I don't know how to prevent those things from sneaking up on us!!
We are waiting patiently for a time to meet our trainer next. It's just been so crazy, and all the money is disappearing some how!
I will update later, it's time for bed!!

And it's only day two!
So I have been a busy dog today!
Mom had to work all day today so I went off to play care for another day of doggone good times :)
It went pretty well. I made a new best friend named Duke who is a German Shorthaired Pointer. I was the first one he wanted to play with and we played the rest of the day. I really like making new friends. I hope to see him again soon!
Mom got off at seven so I didn't get to go home until seven thirty since grandma and grandpa aren't supposed to pick me up yet. We went on a walk straight after I got home.
It was a lot busier out than we thought it would be. I was under the impression that most humans are programmed to sit and stare at those picture screens and sit in their recliners when they get home until they go to bed. I guess I was wrong. People were actually got playing. One old couple was actually on a swing in their yard talking to each other! What a crazy new world!!
I wanted to lunge at a few annoying people (two people, and one dog that was barking incessantly in the yard) but mom got me distracted with those wonderful endless treats from her magical fanny pack (how did those things ever go out of style, they are fantastic!!).
These new things we are learning are going great. Two men even talked to us! I wasn't thrilled about it but I didn't growl or lunge at all. I was mighty impressed with mom and me for keeping it together!
How am I already improving on day two!?

First Day
Hello Human World!
My name is Lecter.
Yes, as in Hannibal.
My parents decided to name me Lecter because they thought it would be a super cool name for a Doberman and I have come to be a super cool dog.
Over the past six months I have developed some pretty nasty habits like growling and lunging at people. I am also made a nasty habit of muzzle punching them if they get too close. That means I'm only a short stroll away from chomping down. Mom and dad don't want that, and really I don't want to either. What people don't see is that I am severely sensitive, and concerned. I react easily, and it takes me a lot to relax.
Because of my problems with people my mom and dad have decided to take me to a dog trainer who hopefully will turn in my life around. I look forward to it.
We had our first meeting today and I feel really good about it. I sniffed her, and gave her kisses to let her know that I like her. She seems like a really cool human that understands how I feel, and I am becoming aware that it's hard to come across humans that speak dog. Humans are slow sometimes, but not this one.
Mom, dad, grandma, and grandpa all attended. I was nervous and pacing and they did a bunch of funny tests on me. And kept rewarding me for laying down! What an easy trick! See why I like this new lady!
We went outside and dad started running. He knows that I hate running. Oh how it works me up. I wish people would just slow down and stop moving so quickly! If only I could teach the world what I would like it to do!
I also met a man that scared the poop outta me, but he didn't eat me.
It makes me wonder if men aren't so bad (all of the time).
Mom and I went for a walk when we got home. I think she was super excited, I could feel how happy she was. It was hot and I was tired but I decided to amuse her by letting her feed me more treats.
All I had to do was look at people and I got a fist full of cheese and hot dog! This training is great :)
A lady behind a bush scared me half to death and I let her know. Plus a boy was on the sidewalk riding his bike and scared me again. The real world is so much scarier than the training place.
We had a good walk all-in-all. I didnt' growl at little kids at the park, or tons of people that were outside, or on a walk in the neighborhood. I just wish mom would stop getting so tense every time we see someone running towards us or biking. All that does is get my panties in a bunch too!
I had a really good day, and I can't wait for the day every one doesn't worry me so much. I don't like to worry, and I don't like my family to either.
And at the end of the day my mom gave me a huge hug and told me what a good boy I was.
I can't ask for anything more than that.
